my arm hurts
« on: April 07, 2006, 19:32:46 PM »

i have been building up a static s-park for the kast 3 months for my duke of edingbrugh award (bronze). i finished it on tuesday night and took it for a test ride at chiksands on trhe wednesday. This is were it all whent wrong.

i was doing the smaller 8 pack as i havn't dj'd before. I nailed them and spent the rest of the day doing them. At about 3:30 i hit the third with less pace the i probably should have, nose it in to the hang up and rolled over the bars with my bike on top, i got up shocked and abit annoyed, as i went to pick my bike up i noticed that my wrist was all bent. As you can probably guess i freaked out abit and an ambulace was called. I thoght it was a dislocated wrist, i was kinda right but it was only dislocated cos both bones in my arm had snapped and were about 67degree out of place.

A few days later and an hour of surgery later, i have pins in my arm and a huge cast on my arm. no more dirt jumping for me

ooooooooo that looks bad, it reminds me of when i got my foot stuck in the front wheel and was cartwheeled over the bars which ended up with me have a broken arm an dislocated elbo, i nearly had to have pins an a metal plate as i only broke one bone in my arm so it was twisted big time.
