split the fork into

leg's
crown
steerer

now take the offending leg and strip it down to the carterage, if your LUCKY it will be a screw in type footnut, try and wedge out the offending stuck thread

if your unlucky, its a nut type footnut and you've snaped your carterage - 80 quid for a new one

or you can just bodge it?

at the mo its being held together with gather tape which should get me to and back from work,

on the bottom is a nut with a rubber seal on it, and a small bit on thread snapped inside it, and all i can see at the other end is about 2mm of thread leading into the fork

if thats any use

bombers dont have cartriges, theyre an open system. you can strip the damping rod out, and replace just the damping rod. im pretty sure windwave can still get hardware for most marzocchi forks.

'bombers' eh? go back to school, the crap end of the marzocchi range uses SSV (aka pumped rods)  they are not a crap end fork. So please unless you have solid information dont post something undermining already posted statements! because you might be wrong, like in this case  Grin

My old bike  Sad, I have a damping cartridge lying about somewheres although not to sure if it would fit as it was of a set of 99 z1's which had 130mm travel, you could have it if you wanted, I swapped that for bens gt. Would someone clarify it would work?!
