lenses for mini dv cam

got a canon mv790 mini dv cam, wanna try some new lenses on it

first is it possible and

second how do i find out what lenses fit? measurments across the lense?

yes it is possible as i have a fisheye lens sticking out the end of my sony. Basically easiest thing is to go to jessops, or your local camera shop and get them to look at it. Most probably you will need a little screw on adaptor which the main lense will screw onto. This adaptor itself will screw onto the original camcorder lense. All pretty simple really

They make the widest choice of add on lenses for video cameras and thei prices are amazing considering the quality.

Jessops are very good at this and will have you sorted in a jiffy, check out the website
