Well I think it's good once you pay closer attention to it because:

The rider/person in front is totally out of focus, which puts more emphasis on the rider in the backgorund.

Also, you can tell that the rider in the backgorund is concentrating because of his mouth (can't see his eyes which normally give it away), and how tightly he appears to be gripping the bars.
