Instructions are fine, but you also need to read the ones in the SB600 manual to set the flash up correctly.

It's A1, not A3 Tongue

did it take long to set-up?

No not really, you go into the cameras menu and set the right option, you then hold two buttons down on the flash, then press a 3rd, then set it to channel 3 I think and you are sorted.
