only 2 out of 1000 shots that they actually look good on. and then still id probobly rather add it in photoshop.

Are you serious?

Add it in photoshop?

I'm not listening to what you have to say after reading that.

As for my 350d, it's already been sent backi to be fixed once after going screwy, the hotshoe is still not working as it should be,  i personally don't like the colours (comp[ared to a nikon on the same settings straight off the camera both with the equivalent 50mm primes on.), the button layout is awkward for quick use,  the menu layout isn't particulaly freindly i don't find, i jsut don't like it,   but saying that i am seriously contemplating a 5d after having a go on one, but the d200 is looking good also.

Its going to be a birthday presie hopefully, im going to send my back to get that sorted. What is the cheapest dslr so i know where they start from. I want a full camera thats good out of the box, also it has to be a good size so i can take it on rides, to take your slrs do you have to take a backpack? Do all the cameras have anti shake even with flash off because a konica minolta did and that looked really useful!Does anywhere still have a konica minolta dynax 5d in stock?

If you've got the money, and if you're contemplating a 5d you must have, then buy some decent glass.

If i wanted your opinion on what to buy i would have asked.

Well you blame your out of focus pictures on screwy AF, so it can't be that good.. Quit being an ass.

If your going 5D as PhotoJames said you need to have good glass, and as your constantly moaning about how your AF doesnt work or something doesnt work properly thats not really good glass is it?

do you see any professional or serious photographers messing around with a compact?

better picture quality
more adjustability. i .e.  different lenses, filters, shutter speeds, flashes, aperture etc etc
