needing a lightish and strongish seatpost to stop this happening ... but at the same time cheap ....

looking at race face prodigy on CRC but cant find a weight for it ... it could be a behimoth but its cheap at 14.99

or a titec xc number im guessing they come up quite light

anyone got any suggestions that are a little less branded and a little more quality ? looked into selcof they seem to come in quite well

wish i could afford to put on a thomson like i have on my dh bike

who do you think produces the one thats on the bike ... ill give you a clue ... it sure as hell aint tioga even if its badged as such

i dont need twin bolts .... the clamp is fine ... its the actual post thats bent at the frame ...its flexed ever since i got the bike ...

as i need it so far out the frame for my uber long legs

prodigys winning so far ... if someone can assure me its not going to weigh the same as the bike

I bent a few seatposts before buying the 'Knock-Rated' 7075 400mm Titec post. That's been solid as a rock for a few years, on my jump bike and now my DH bike. It's 35 quid, but I spent 40 quid on 'cheap' ones before I bought it (from CRC).

lol lay off the pies ... and what dissapear ? im 6 foot 3 and hovering between 11 stone 12 and 12 stone 2 depending on what ive eaten/done ...i actually got caught out by a surprise burn at 57kph and just sailed across it landing on the uphill landing and my spds unclipped so full weight of me at that speed onto stationary bike ...

lol i wasnt angry ,.... i guess its said in a tone that only works in a face to face convo ... but it was meant in a laughy jokey sorta way ... looks like im going titec ..

used a marin one i had kicking about only its 0.2mm to small diameter and it flexs just as bad as the tioga .... dont trust it ...
