having trouble with my 3 manitou dorados

hiya,

im having a bit of trouble with my 03 mantou dorados,
the forks are a bit too slow even when the rebound adjuster is turned to the fastest and doesnt turn no more, does this indacate that the forks may need a service? please tell me what the problem is so i can fix them asap ?

Quite possibly means you need fresh oil in your rebound circuit as the oil is old and thick.

did i hear somewhere there are two types of oils in dorados...one in the stanctions, and a thicker one in lowers on compression/rebound side, and if a seal leaks, these two oils mix, causing a thick precipitate?!..hence the slower rebound?!!??

if thats it, then a service *new seals and oil change* would be ideal.

hiya,

so all i need to do is get some new fork oil put into the fork?
ive looked on tf tuned and its 80quid to service and tune the forks bt is there a cheaper way to fix my forks?and where can i get some stendec fork oils?

use stendec for serviceing them they are cheaper Smiley
