rear hub problem

hiya

i have a hope bulb bolt thru hub  and the freehub is really stiff and i havent tightened the axle up tight and its still stiff, is there anything i can do to make it less stiff again without taking it to my LBS.

have you tried lubeing it up and prob comparing it to a mates bike who is the sameish to yours??

Have u checked the pawls on the freehub body ? Perhaps a spring has gone from one of the pawls, so the free hub is not moving that well.

Maybe loosening the retaining nut next to the freehub?  May have been put on too tightly. Then re-grease.
