Open an account with
PHOTOBOX or someone similar. Its free, really easy and once set up, whenever you sell something you can stick the picture in really easily after just uploading it to your Photobox account.
When you are writing your message, look above the text box and you will see a bank of little square images with 'B' and
I and
U in it amongst other things. You see the second one along on the bottom row that looks like a picture? click that and img will appear in your text twice, in square brackets.
Right-click on your photograph from the website its on, scroll to 'copy image location' and then 'paste' the address you copied between the brackets.
With Photobox and similar accounts, make sure you have specified that you want your pictures to be public, otherwise nobody can see them.
If you want to have a 'clickable' link to an image, click the 3rd square along that looks like a globe with a page on it. You will get [.url] twice [/url] in square brackets. Put an = sign inside the first brackets after url, then paste the address where you want to link to after the = sign. This could look like this - [.url=http://www.google.co.uk] (ignore dot at start)
Then, between the first set of brackets with all your new address etc in and the second set of brackets, type whatever word you want. When you post the message, this word will appear blue and people will be able to click it to go to the website you pasted in.
