how much space d'you reckon you'll need? iomega do some good stuff, fairly cheap as far as i know.

externel drive FireWire Lacie 250 GIGs X2= 250 POUNDS
1 drive for your capture ( 9 hours)
1 for your data, a lot of it
never had any problems, in fact these unit is my P.C., i consider the rest (workstation) as accessory,  and that doesn t need upgrade . it s all life and memories...
can t work without, and sometimes a simple PCMIA firewire will go on at least Pentium 3 laptop or tower...never look back after 110 films.

www.amazon.com or www.aria.co.uk my bro got one from amazon a 250 gb for 73 but now they have dropped even more 300gb for 75

get an hd enclosure like the
IcyBox IB-351U-B-BL 3.5" IDE to USB2.0 Blue LED Black External HDD enclosure off microdirect

Internal HD prices are so cheap, you can get 400GB for about 100 quid, or get 2 200Gb's for like 40/50 quid each

go for anything with firewire 800 or usb 2.

for 300gb you should be looking to pay more than £120 realistically.
