ive ridden it on a hardtail, its probably better because its quite a pedally track and theres not really anything too rough so a ht handles it fine

and yes there is a ht cat

Uplift or walk!

Mountain Ash is probably the tamest of all theh dragons and is more fun on a hardtail

there are only four places where full suspension is better
Rock Slab - chicken run to side
First drop after rock slab - piece of piss anyway
second drop parallel to fire road - chicken run or just take it, it's not nice on any bike
last drop 100 metres from end - chicken run availablealthough it's not that big anyway

generally you have to bok in advance whether its a race day or uplift day. One payment and as many uplifts as you can get in the alloted time

If you've entered the race then of course you get uplift on the day included in your price...

There are sometimes separate "uplift days" which are nothing to do with the race, they are just practice sessions where you pay your money and get as much uplift as you can manage before the wagons stop running (usually about 6 hours worth).  These don't involve any racing or timing, just doing practice runs.
