Looks like Colin and I should talk a bit more often, although there isn't much point we think the same things.  Have to say I agree with everything he's said on this thread so far.

Dan I think you are barking up the wrong tree with 'Out of Industy Sponors'  We need to provide excellent races for riders first, concentrate on that, then go for the 'Outside'.  Who wants to be associated with something that is not being enjoyed by the participants??? Not me for sure.

Dan, get in touch with me. Do you want to commentate?

FC are going to clean up the site apparently, so it should look mint.

Yes, punter parking will be over the road, shouldn't be a problem so long as you sign on and read the times that are relevant to you. Yes there will be a bit more walking, but at least you get to race on one of the best tracks in the UK.  If you get tired ny a bit of walking then you've got 7 months to get fitter.

I'm hoping to get a Tool board sorted out at the finish line for minor mechanicals and somone to fix punctures (or at least a load of tubes, pump and tools) also adjacent to the finish, this should save a few trips at least.

I'm also going to clear a walking route up the track, well at least half of it if nothing else, this should allow as many spectators who want to come to watch exciting DHing in the woods as it should be.  I mean seriously, who goes DHing across grassy fields in their free time?

C'mon nibblers lets get negative.  At least it airs the dirty laundry.

Hit me............J

Are there any requirements for entry the national champs?
Or is it just dollar and first come first served?
