6 weeks out
« on: October 14, 2006, 19:14:37 PM »

ive just managed to break my collar bone resulting in 2 weeks of pain (thats what doctor said) and 6 weeks at least off my bike. i think i dilocated it aswell but it popped back after 30mins which cained. now what the hell can i do, i can barely dress myself let alone do something productive like dig.

P.S i appologise for any slow replys i can only use one hand.

i had to have a cast cos the bone had separated and was floating away in my hand, so they put me in a cast to hold it in place...

i am still recovering from my broken collar bone 6 weeks on still not able to ride all that good i can do like 1 maybe 2 runs then it kills. after about a week you will be able to dig again it took me a good few days to lean to dress my self lol and getting socks on now that was a day job lol. after about 2 weeks or so you will think your ready to ride but as soon as you go to jump crunch the pain will be so bad i no i did it lol.

You're not the lad who crashed at Rogate on Saturday are you, the one who Ratboy tried to cheer up by telling him that he probably had AIDS?

If so, hi. I'm the loud Northern one who was with the fat ones, the rat one and the RAF one.

Ok the broken coller bone which ive been concerned about because it dosent look in the right place is well bothering me again. It sticks up above wear it should be and also is further towards my neck, I can push it downwards Tongue quite sick i know but its slightly worrying that it dosent attatch to a bone. Also i can move my arm carefully now but when i rasie it directly out to the side and up ( only way i can describe it is if you had wings lol anyway) it pushes the bone in towards my neck. Does anyone have an explanation for this? i have my 1 week check up on tuesday so is there anything i should be worried about.
