I've fixed up the new section at Mtn Ash now so it should be ok to ride from now on. However, when went up there yesterday some guys were riding the track and I saw them drive their 4x4 down to the finish from the forest road.. I jumped to the conclusion they were shuttling the track and had a go at them. They, however, assured me they had just parked by the FC gate in the middle of the track. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. If you want to ride at Mtn Ash park on the flat area next to the finish or at the entrance to the forest road by the A4059. If you don't want to park there a safer place is in the layby next to one of the burger vans.

Contrary to the above request somebody was up at Mtn Ash today (15/10/06). They were shutteling the track (all be it the bottom section) They were in a White Transit Reg. BT54 KLM. I would like to find out who they are so if someone could let me know I would appreciate it. DO NOT DO THIS, IT COULD COST US ALL THE VENUE FOR FUTURE DOWNHILL RACES.

ye i agree its not worth risking a dragon track for the sake of a few uplifts. they could ruin it not just for them selves but for everybody who races dragons.

yeah, quit your moanin... You can be 100% sure he does a helluva lot more than you do for the overall good of the sport.

Was thinking they meant filling in a few ruts rather then building 100ft hucks?

All you have to do is ask and he will consider. I contacted him about repairing and re-building part of the Wentwood track and he said yes, now the website in my link is reponsible for the maintanence work for the track. But i wouldnt go out digging without contacting him first.

least some one pays attention

Get some friends with shovels to go up and help you, dragon tracks were on the whole made by saw spade and rake, theres no reason you couldn't put just the worst bits back to there former glory
