Aston Hill returned to the racing scene this weekend after a break of 2 years with its first downhill race of the season. Attracting entrants from as far a field as France; a total of 189 riders turned up to sample what Aston Hill’s Black Run had to offer. With £2500 worth of prizes and BC points up for grabs, there was plenty to battle for.

Racing started at 8.30 prompt which posed a huge challenge in front of the event; 200 riders needing to do 2 full runs in 2 hours, and learn the new sections groomed by John Holbrook.

The weekend was extremely successful with no major problems and some great weather for the new organizers first event at Aston Hill.
