The sun was shining for racing this evening with an amazing vibe in the crowd, a great track and lots of qualified Brits made the prospects of racing ahead looking great.

Lewis Lacey stepped up for the first heat and nailed it for the win with the riders behind having some issues on the rock section, racing looked like it was going to be good!

An all British heat came in thirdly.  Atherton destroyed it with ease and style bringing up the hype in the Fort.

Brit Mcavoy came down in the next heat and didn’t get the gate. He fought back hard half way down but didn’t quite make the mark by the end of the course.

Heat seven was a dual event, position wasn’t even a key, an extra practice run?

Duncan Ferris came down pulling some interesting lines to take a position but just couldn’t quite grab a place through by the end.

Will Longden and Rich Cunningham were up against Procop, a hard heat to get results in. Cunny had a real fight with Longden especially over the rock section where he nearly had it but the finish was just too far back.

Graves came down against Dowie, another hard heat for a Brit starter.  Graves went miles ahead but Dowie managed to get that qualifying second position.

Next up Brits Kerr vs Beaumont who took the lead and ended with a Brit position going through in both one and two, result!

Lewis Lacey then came down scoring second, putting him into the quarter finals.

Dan Atherton had a clean run going into the quarters in second position pushing Yeomans out.

Will Evans then made an awesome move on the inside of the first corner putting him into second until the finish giving him the place in the quarters after such an awful gate.

Longden came down against Prokop and pushed hard grabbing a well earned second position even with a flat rear tyre! Result!

Three Brits then came down with Beaumount being the only one through to the next round unfortunately.

Dan Atherton’s quarter saw him drop right back to fourth by the second corner where he got pushed out, shocker!

Two Brits in the next quarter came against the strong Prokop knocking another two out.

The next quarter saw Scott Boom Boom coming in third with a rear flat, another man down.

Fionn Griffiths then got a win shoulder to shoulder in the semi with a place to the final, amazing race!

Some serious close racing went down in the semis which pushed Jared Graves out in front and Prokop out of the final.

Womens' final put pressure on Fionn as the Brit involved on home ground.  She took some wide lines which looked out of place at first put pushed through to gain third position with Jill Kintner taking the win of round four!

1st Jill Kitner
2nd Caroline Buchanan
3rd Fionn Griffiths
4th Milisa Buhl

The men’s B final came down with the former world champion, Prokop, back absolutely destroying the field to give him the fifth position overall.

Last up the Men’s A final. This race was pretty straight forward, positions where lined up in the first corner where the riders proceeded to train it down to the finish line giving Jared Graves the win.

1st – Jared Graves
2nd – Romain Saladini
3rd – Lukas Mechura
4th – Jurg Meiler
