The expected rain came to Maribor and made for a really good but short training session on a very slippery track. Training had to be stopped and qualifying had to be postponed for Sunday morning. The lifts had to be switched off because of lightening.

Our photographer was on the way up to the track when practice was canceled, so no action shots from today's downhill training. You still get a few impressions from the day.

The four cross finals were very exciting, with a lot of passing on a very muddy track.
Adrian Weiss was fighting hard to get into round two, but crashed trying to pass another rider.

Tomorrow's schedule is a challenge for every team, as training will start at seven in the morning, qualifying at 9.30 and finals at 13.15 .
