Day 2 of the French world cup in La Bresse
The forums went wild with a lot of people back in the UK, myself included complained about what the track looked like saying things like ' no way is it up to world cup standards' and 'UCI don’t have a clue'! So I asked mark Beaumont 'What do you think of the track and do you think it is world cup worthy?' his answer… 'The track is awesome and as far as world cup standards go the racers these days will ride any track as long as there are lots of riders and good crack.'

That was the general feeling around the pits with people eager to get practicing for the weekend ahead. So track conditions, well the track is 3/4 grass and the rest is either jagged rock or awesome dirt. Although the weather is constantly changing from thunder storms to bright typical French weather the majority are riding spikes to tackle the mud.
