Whether your main sport is Downhill, XC or Snowboarding you always have a magazine hitting the shelves every month that you like to check out, but what if you are BMX racing?  Fastlane BMX Racing magazine is the first UK based BMX racing magazine for all you Sunday track racers.

If you’re a user of Southerndownhill’s forum or if you just check out our race reports you will have noticed some amazing photography by Mr Dave Lane, Mr Fastlane Photography.  Over the past BMX season Dave has been hitting up all the BMX events for photo reasons but soon noticed the gap for a racing magazine.  So here it is, the all new and very flash looking Fastlane BMX Racing Magazine.

Being a photographer at heart, Dave has a real passion for getting the best images and has spent time in selecting only the best of his best images putting other magazines to shame, and with his side man Dave Michael putting the magazine together with interesting graphics and together they have produced a real artwork feel of a magazine.

The magazine comes in an 80 page, A4 glossy format with product reviews from companies such as Funn, interviews with the likes on Olympian Shanaze Reade and a gallery section which includes some incredible images from Dave’s travels in the MTB world as well as BMX with and some posters.

The race reports, albeit short, give you a great feel of the track and what happened on the day, along with fantastic photos and race results giving the opportunity of seeing your name in print. The reports in this issue show a round up from key races in the season, but as more issues come out it will give leeway for more race series reports and reviews.

Why am I telling you this on an MTB site, well apart from loving all riding disciplines, Fastlane this month has covered a 4X event and plans to venture into this more in future issues.

In this first issue there is even the opportunity to win a full Koxx Komp Pro bike!
