In the ladies the Aussie Caroline Buchanan went down hard after the first corner and was stretchered off, fingers crossed its not as bad as it looks. Today’s qualifying saw some superb action up on the hill. We’ll have a full round up tomorrow, but for now here are the final confirmed qualifying results. Time for the Dirt party…

Men on track now, results in a tick.

We don’t know details yet, but a call from on the hill informs us that in qualifying Sam Dale crashed badly and was carted off the hill by the medics. More when we get it. Hopefully its not serious, as Sam is a top lad.

Update: He has broken his collar bone and will be spending the night in hospital. Head is okay, but he’ll be out of the race obviously.
