We don’t know details yet, but a call from on the hill informs us that in qualifying Sam Dale crashed badly and was carted off the hill by the medics. More when we get it. Hopefully its not serious, as Sam is a top lad.

Update: He has broken his collar bone and will be spending the night in hospital. Head is okay, but he’ll be out of the race obviously.
